Our first WildSpeak! presentation was officially unveiled during the April DFW Wildlife Coalition monthly meeting. Beverly Guthrie gave an awesome presentation on birds and all the wonderful ways they amaze us with their beauty, intelligence, and song.

Beverly spoke to an audience of 30 people who were treated to a mixture of slides, video, and handouts, including a handout of a single peanut in its shell. What was that for, you ask? Well, you will just have to attend to find out! You wouldn't want to miss it anyway, as it was a very entertaining and educational program.

Karla Vargas and Beverly Guthrie, both hotline volunteers, teamed up to do the research and compilation of information for this project. It was obvious that an enormous amount of work went into this, and the results were fantastic!
